I don't as a rule read Science Fiction, but this was great. The author created a world and I entered right from page one and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
Verne brings the story to life and I was able to relate to the characters who are real and likeable.
Loved the map.
The ship was a place you felt you could reach out and touch it was so real.
I am so looking for the next book. Fantastic read. I don't do spoilers, so I won't say anymore other than, a 'must read'.

Imminent Domain Finding Goldilocks eBook Neal JB Verne Alicia Carmical Reviews

This was an interesting Science type story. The writing was well done and well researched.
There was a touch of religion thrown in as the crew of the Parche 1 was looking for another
planet for the inhabitants to occupy. The writing in this book was a bit different than what I am used to so I found it a bit
difficult to get into. That was no fault of the author, it just took me awhile to adjust. I am
giving this story 3 and a half stars as it would have been nice to have a bit more character
background and structure. It is a decent story and I will be reading the next book to see how
it plays out. Thank you. I also want to thank Author Neal J.B. Verne for giving HeadTripping Books the chance to read and review this book!

I won this book in a Goodreads Give-a-way. This book is different in that a planet of people are seeking a new home because their sun is dying. They find a planet but it already has a sentient population. The people from the doomed planet want to move their population there but the natives may have other ideas. Meanwhile on the home planet they are constructing ships for the move. This includes war ships as well as luxury liners to transport part of their population to the new planet. Everyone will not be able to go however so enormous shelters are being constructed to shield them from their fate. This book has a good story line and is a good read. It is written in a different style than I usually read but it is never the less interesting and I recommend it to all Science Fiction fans.
I really enjoyed this book. It pulls you in from page one. I went on an adventure that makes you feel like you're actually there.
The author gives great detail and explanation. The descriptions are spot on so you can actually picture what you are reading. I love the addition of the messages received, they make you feel like you're in the ship receiving them.
The addition of a map was fantastic and the glossary! Awesome!
As you go on you really feel like you are on a ship. This is a great story and it flows perfectly. I am looking forward to the next book.
I could see this book being turned into a movie one day!
I will be the first to say that I have read very little science fiction in my day, but I very much like the plot line of this book, Imminent Domain Finding Goldilocks. The author thoroughly describes his settings and the science terms in his work. While I'm not up on the latest in the science field, the research seems solid and helpful to the storyline. Mr. Verne makes realistic connections between his characters and most of them are very likable. The plot is original and moves along well, and while the ending isn't a cliffhanger, there seems to be enough interest in what will happen next to write another book in the series.

I really liked this book. Verne really puts you in there. He does a great job of setting the stage. I think back as if I had been there, or at least watched a movie. I look forward to the next one.
A very unoriginal story that is recycle sci fi wrapped in some the most awkward writing I've read. This is as poorly written and edited as any book I've read - including a few that never published. But it had a decent sci fi at it heart story and it kept my interest to a degree. But a very PG and non religious story all off a sudden is filled inappropriate sexual and religious overtones that only hurts the story line. Plenty of asides that lead no where and plenty of things repeated showing sign of a lack of editing. I'd be By the end of the book the males come out often as sexist pigs and the woman just take it . Very white and very American centered, as if America was all white, for a book about the "world' ending. The last 3 pages took a book that the last 50 or so pages already turned south into a groaner of a ending. .
The plot idea was interesting. I got the parallels. The irony did come through. There were a few places where a proof reader needed to take a good look, but since that happens to the best, I paid it little attention.
